Introducing Our New Queen: Loma La Gloria
This year, we are proud to spotlight Loma La Gloria as our Queen coffee offering. For the next 12 months, we’ll feature five incredible lots from this exceptional farm.
A Legacy of Passion and Perseverance
Loma La Gloria is owned and operated by Anny Ruth Pimentel, a dynamic leader in the coffee world. Anny Ruth stepped into coffee farming in 2012, revitalizing her father’s vision of creating a coffee mill on the farm. With no coffee lands passed down, Anny Ruth rebuilt the mill from scratch and established direct trade relationships, ensuring that her beans are handled only by her team before reaching roasters and coffee lovers worldwide. Her determination has transformed the farm into a globally recognized producer of award-winning coffees.
The farm itself is steeped in history and meaning. Originally named after the estate of her great-grandfather, Loma La Gloria lies within the El Boquerón crater of the San Salvador Volcano. Spanning 219 acres at 1,200–1,750 meters above sea level, the farm is home to Pacamara and Bourbon varieties, lush shade trees, and diverse wildlife, offering a perfect microclimate for coffee cultivation.
More Than Coffee
Loma La Gloria isn’t just about exceptional coffee—it’s about resilience, community, and innovation. Anny Ruth’s dedication extends beyond her farm, promoting sustainable practices and sharing her journey to inspire others. From restoring her family’s mill to putting her farm on the coffee map, her story is one of grit, vision, and a love for the land.
